Kandella is the spirit of the lantern festival! Every spirit is powerful on their main day and when her day comes, she uses her power to protect people from any injuries/accidents. Which is the reason why she has few scars. She is a spirit yet not friendly with the other spirits, especially the halloween spirit. Dakota isolates herself from the other spirits and prefers to be with normal people. In 206 bce, she died from an accident at attempted lantern flying which caused a lot of people mourn her death with lanterns thus she became the spirit of the lantern festival. Also her hair represents where she burned and her necklace represents the lantern that killed her
