Anatomy of the Rifle Breed:

Athletic and muscular with strong, thick legs.

Firm hocks and pasterns, straight topline with a heavily sloping croup. Level back but may gently slope during fast, extended trot.
Tail reaches beyond the hocks and may even touch the ground when resting. Tails are either straight, slightly arched or held in a gentle bow above the back.

Somewhat thin head with a long muzzle, straight nose-bridge or with a slight roman shape. Flat forehead. Medium-sized, oval eyes.
The ears are tall and erect with the tip of the ears curled inwards. Size of ears may wary.

The movement is outreaching, extended, enabling the dog to cover a great distance in a short amount of time without wasting too much energy.

The joints are much more flexible compared to other breeds, giving the Rifle more agility. Some dogs have even perfected the skill of tree-climbing.
