Teylan and his mates adoptive son, he returned with Eryis long lost daughter Ke'ra, he was the only one she really trusted to be around at first for a looongg time. He was definetly protective over her as well, having been raised by the RDA alongside her with similar ideas that the RDA poisoned their minds with. Once Mateo realized that not only were the sarentu here to help they were an entire resistance against the RDA, he was taught that the RDA was a plague on pandora leaving behind nothing but cold grey metal and fresh bloodied remains, of the native wildlife and its people… Truly a bane to eywas will.


Coming in a decade after the Mangkwan attacks on the Aranahe hometree, he works hard to prove himself worthy of the clans protection. He works very hard and is super polite to those around him, he brings back any supplies he can possibly get to help support both the clan and the resistance.

He is very fond of Tamtey And So’lek seeing them as inspirational, their work has always awestruck him as a kid and he wants to grow to be just like them. Being a sarentu alone is an honor to him.
