Aiona is one of the oldest cats in the clan - and it is her magic that keeps the magical barrier around the Summit Grove alive. Due to her Utility Magic, she is cursed to be unable to speak when in close proximity to others. She lives atop the tree in nearly pure isolation, continuously projecting her aura to keep the magical barrier alive. Her name means "eternal flame", representing her eternal resolve to keep her home tree protected, at the cost of almost all her life force; her aura.
Personality
Aiona's magic has made it impossible for her to form bonds. Few cats of this current time even know she exists; and she needs to keep it that way. However, she takes great comfort in listening to the chatter of cats below her. She enjoys observing their interactions and all the silly jokes they say towards one another. She envies it, honestly. She will sometimes make quiet quips just to hear the laughter below.
There is one creature who can tolerate her speech; the dragons. Sometimes, when they fly over head, they speak to Aiona. They are her only friend in this world; at least, that's what it feels like at times. Deep down, Aiona is a sweetheart who was cursed by a voice too powerful for most.

Story
Arc 1
Aiona was born into the Summit Grove.
When she was born, her magic was revealed to be a voice that could vaporize a cat should she speak too loudly. She was banished to the top of the tree, away from everyone and everything. She grew used to the isolation - but that didn't mean she liked it.
She keeps the barrier around the Summit Grove alive; by using almost all her aura towards the barrier, her voice is slightly weaker, thanks to the lack of mana within her body. It still isn't enough to make it safe for her to speak, though.
MAGICAL PROWESS
- UTILITY MAGIC:
- HEAR MY CALL: Aiona's utility magic is more of a curse - her voice is so loud and powerful that, should a cat be caught directly in front of her whilst speaking, they will be effectively erased from existence. Because of this, Aiona has been limited to the top of the tree, where she may speak with cats on below branches with no more affect than rattling the branches they stand upon.
- COMBAT MAGIC:
- SHIELD GALORE: Aiona can project her aura into a shield, which can be kept in one place with an object acting as a vessel, such as a pillar or an amulet. This magic is current in use indefinitely to maintain the barrier around the tree; which her clanmates do not know she is responsible for.
