Elys is the Acolyte of Misfortune as the captain of his own ship. His entire crew exists of illusions that they made with the illusion magic that was bestowed upon him by the goddess of the sea’s. His purpose is to mess with people that are planning or intending to do something harmful to Atlantis or the creatures that live there. This mostly happens a way of karma or like his title, misfortune. Seeing him at sea is always seen as a bad omen. In general Elys is more of a prankster and a silly type of character who loves to play pranks and mess with people, but if you dive a little deeper they are a bit more complex and tragic then you might think. Try having basically little to no human interactions in your life with a shadow man sharing your soul and see how sane you’d be at the end of the day.

Elys is a golden bronze skinned guy with more of a skinny leaning build. They have a medium mullet-like blonde hair style with a bigger lock in the front. He has yellow eyes with diamond shaped irises in them. Elys is a rather short individual reaching a height of 162 cm. They like to wear clown inspired make-up. This usually includes a light to dark blended purple eye shadow with darker purple stripes across his eyes. They also wear a purple coloured lipstick with dots in the mouthcorners.

Their day to day outfit contains a jester inspired look. They wear a big purple jester hat with striped and checkered patterns on them. The tips of the hat have gold bells that jingle. They wear a purple short puffy sleeved crop top with a close to white undershirt and jester collar. On this collar are gold emotion mask decorations and little bells. Over this he wears a singular brown belt and on their hands they wear ruffled gloves with poofy balls. Then he wears a purple corset with longer flaps on the back with a pink-ish checkered pattern inside and little gold stars at the tip. Underneath they wear purple pants with longer brown boots. These boots are decorated with emotion based masks and little belts.
