Appearance

Orion is a white Jersey Devil, appearing as a humanoid goat creature with wings and a hooked tail. He has three grey horns that are darker at the tips. His hands have large grey claws that are darker at the tips with similar coloring on his hooves, hook on his tail and spines running down his tail. He has a pair of pink draconic wings with tears in them. His tail is furless and pink. One of his ears has a tear in it and he has various scars across his chest. He has three pink eyes with horizontal pupils and circles around the pupils.

After making his home in the Noxalle town, he often wears a large red coat.

Personality

Orion is, by rule, irritable and prickly. He doesn’t trust people and drives them away. This comes from a place of rejection and fear. If you somehow get past his rocky and defensive shell, you’ll find a very melancholy creature who craves gentleness and safety.

History

Some time ago, Orion was a rebellious teen with an abusive mother. One day, the conflict came to a boiling point and the two bitterly fought, worse than before. After being told he was “actually the devil” Orion ran into the pine barrens where he transformed into his current form. Fueled by rage, he attempted to murder his mother but was seen and driven from the town into the pine barrens, where he would stay.

For a time, he lived more animal than human, craving a sanctuary but unaware of where he could find one—if it even existed. This changed when he was found by a traveling wolf pack who, recognizing his humanity, convinced him to return with them to their home, a Noxalle town north of there. He was hesitant to go but was eventually strongarmed into it. There he has been slowly but surely healing.

Skills

With his horns, claws, hooves and hooked tail, he can capably defend himself. Despite his damaged wings, he can somewhat fly.
