| rat hulk is the son of a duo of two very powerful mafia bosses, an only child, he was born with the perfect quirk, a combination of both his parents quirks. the perfect heir to the combined syndicate. or he would be. on his 13th birthday, he ran away, he hated the superficial mafia world, he found it "cowardly" and even worse "boring." it was not that he thought himself above crime, but he disliked his parents approach to it. his quirk is powerful, he saw no reason to keep his crimes "under the table" like his parents did. with his quirk as a disguise, he created a new alter ego "rat hulk" to rampage on the street, and steal whatever he wanted, in the pursuit of "real" crime. not moving around money, blackmailing, and influencing political figures. however he is a teenager so the extent of “real” crime he thinks about is “stealing” “destruction” and “murder” and he is not particularly interested in murdering for no reason. he isn’t above it, but he’s never been given a reason to do so. his parents havent just let him roam free unsupervised, though. he is a liability, running out on his own and frequently causing a scene on the streets. they send a family member to shadow him, rat hulk is very aware of this, and Very Annoyed by this. because this is basically a glorified baby sitter. he evades whoever is assigned to watch him as much as possible, the latest family member stuck with the job is takio, who rat hulk has so far tolerated the most. however, rat hulk has been betrayed before, and it takes a long time for him to start to start trusting takio. he has taken a liking to taunting takio though. misc; league of villains did approach him but they really couldnt offer him anything he didnt already have or couldnt get by himself. basically he asked "what can you do for me" and the answer wasnt "we can get you an xbox." i doubt he would be interested regardless, since a big part of his character revolves around getting away from organized crime to make a name for himself as an individual. | quirk; he can transform into a giant rat which comes with generalized superhuman strength and durability at the cost of stamina. he also has generalized Rat Abilities like being an excellent swimmer and heightened senses. he can only consistently stay as his rat form reliably for about 2 hours, less if he is firing his machine guns. whilst in rat form he can shapeshift either of his hands into machine guns, the bullets probably are made of fat, id say he has no problem with firing excessively, since he is a teenage boy and probably eats exclusively junk food, but there is a limit to how much he can fire before it takes a toll on his body. he can also have pistols or some other small gun for hands as a human but admittedly i dont know what this looks like. im working on it. misc; even while in human form he has excellent night vision which helps him traverse in the sewers where he lives. yes he would have eyeshine if you take a picture with the flash on. at some point he learns to partially transform, this can only be applied to up to two limbs at a time, which can be used to reserve stamina. it also means he can have a rat tail and ears if he so chooses, however he rarely does this, since on legal record, his quirk is "gun" and it would draw suspicion to his identity as rat hulk, when the police already believe "rat hulk" is connected to his family, and this coming to light would cause problems for him. this is a very fair quirk because thats how it was in my dream and im keeping it that way |
