Sometimes we cannot protect those who call the forest their home, despite our very best efforts. When I or other rangers fail, if the poor beast we find is not struck dead, I for one bring them to Brigid for her salves and potions. I have yet to have a personal need for more than a salve or two for knicks and cuts, but I know if I got into trouble, dragging myself to Brigid would be wise. Her tea is a delight.
I don't see Jackson often as he and the herd seem to almost constantly be on the move, but when I heard the rumbling thunder of the herd I cannot help but come to meet them. We exchange stories, he sharing the world and I sharing of the forest. Sometimes I want to nuzzle that big mane of his just to know what it feels like, but I refrain.
Nice gal I met while tending to the herd. Has some interesting stories about the forest over yonder and seems to be keen on animals which is great in my book.
Alos is a mystery to me. From the moment I met him, I felt the urge to discover him, like an untrod path found after a lifetime in the woods. There is careless cruelty in the honest blade of his words, but I find I respect it. Besides, he has yet to send me away despite his grouchiness, so I suppose I will keep exploring. Perhaps he would like to tour the forest with me?
