Human form: Blair is a fit, pretty average teenager, brown eyes, brown lightly curly hair that he pulls back, tans easily.
Monster form: When blair got infected, the skin where he was splattered with monster blood got stained a blackish blue, the skin changed to more leathery texture and the bones underneeth eventually started turning black, producing the well known blue blood that all monsters that seep through the barrier between the realms have.
it spreads slowly, and changes his anatomy to a more monstrous shape. his monster form changes with age, but mainly only to get bigger and spikier.

Blair lived a fairly normal life, being very active in sports and school football, until he got in between an exterminator team and an invasive monsterous creature.
When the team shot it to keep it from escaping, he got splattered with highly infectious monster blood and then his life went to shit.
After the rounds of getting sedated, quarantined and checked up, endless blood samples and a rather rough month of dealing with infection sickness, he was cleared and signed off as being not infectious and not a danger to the rest of the population.
He is still being kept a close eye on with monthly checks with the doctor and a psycologist to check if he's doing ok and not getting influenced by the monster's hivemind.
He is now dealing with the stress of slowly mutating and turning more and more monstrous, his family tried supporting him as much as they could, but as he was living in a dorm at his school at the moment, the stress and the distance became a bit much so he decided drop out and go home.
The various medication meant to keep his infection and the constant pain makes him irritable, and when he moved home, he quickly realized it wouldn't work out. He didn't want to hurt his family or be a burden, so he packed up again and moved into special housing as he didn't want to cause his family more pain. and to keep them from getting the blunt of the stress and worry it all brought on.
The move also let him live closer to the specialist hospital and be under observation in case his situation gets worse. He gets a bit of money in trade for letting them keep him under observation and take blood samples for testing, in the hopes that they will find a way to stop or revert the infection, if not for him, then for others who are less affected.
And its getting worse, hooo boiii.
Allthough its moving slowly, the infection is slowly turning him into a monster, his eye and arm changed first, then it spread down the right side of his body, and its now slowly moving left.
His right eye got a direct hit and changed almost instantly, it sees everything in a slightly blue hue and is sensitive to sunlight.
the medication he gets its slowing it down lots, and it keeps his pain in check, but it doesnt stop the spread alltogether.
Blair takes a myriad of medicine each day and gets a shot of painkillers and some relaxants before bedtime to help him sleep, he spends his day reading, trying to take up his classes slowly online so he can get his diploma from school. He doesn't want to take on too much at the time, because he isn't sure how long he'd stay human enough or what is gonna happen once the mutation takes over completely.
