Some may recognize the name ‘Haruki Awara’ as the child subject of the nonfiction bestseller ‘A Child In Pieces’ by Ai Awara, in which it is detailed how the murder of Haruki's parents at a young age and his subsequent arrival at the Awara home as a foster child shaped his developmental years. However, he is now famous for being the first among his age group to become a licensed therapist at the Merry Weary's children’s clinic, finishing college and earning the proper certification before even graduating high school.

Having serviced over dozens of clients, his rejection and reshaping of usual therapeutic techniques has created a storm in the world of psychotherapy. In addition, he's made significant contributions to therapeutic methods geared towards adolescent offenders, discouraging shows of force and intimidation in favor of focusing on identifying the underlying issues.

However, rumors fly around concerning Haruki as a result of the book his mother published when he was twelve. It details that his normal behavior is nothing more than a cover for his explosive temper that causes him to hurt and destroy whatever is in front of him. While these temper episodes have never been witnessed in public, accounts from his own mother in her novel have left little doubt about their validity. As a result, many question whether he’s a safe person to leave your children with. Regardless of the voices of doubt, though, he seems to be excellent at his job.
