Iris - Goddess of the Rainbow, Messenger of Olympus
The personal messenger of Hera, queen of Olympus.
She's always been a relatively soft soul compared to many of her Olympian brethren, perhaps in part because her lack of extensive worship from mortals has kept her from becoming self-important as her kin. Nevertheless, she's always had a fascination with humankind, and finds earnest joy in the simple pleasure of sharing her gift of color with them.
During the war waged against the Titans, her sister Arke's choice to aid the opposing side made things especially difficult for her. However, she ended up forging an unlikely closeness with another who had chosen to switch sides. After the war ended, she and Prometheus would often watch over mortals together; her choice to become so close to a Titan was frowned upon by her kin, but she continued to share in his company until his punishment. She harbored great guilt for her inability to stop it, and has had difficulty being face to face with him since, but she was the messenger that told a certain hero of how to free him.
