Profile
Calipso
"Honey, oh sweet love of mine, I promised 'till Death do us part."
A Tzimisce Sandman vampire who's been around since the 1960's, wrecking havoc, touched my the madness that reaches you when you know a little too much and you care a little too little. She knows the rules of society, she knows science, but she is unconcerned with following them... unless it proves convenient. She is, after all, a smart woman.

Facial features
Vampires from Calipso's clan are often called flesh shapers because of their supernatural ability to transform bodies in grotesque forms. From her prominent cheekbones, big, fleshy lips, and lean hawk nose, right to her unnaturally big eyes, her dramatic features are literal.
Body type and build
The proportions of her body can also be pushed to unnatural limits, but in the shape she usually presents she's slim; her layers of clothing hide the prominent hip dips and most of her bony limbs, but you can see her hands and fingers are elongated and almost skeletal.
Scars & Marks
She has a long scar on her lower back that she does not remember getting.
Calipso has acrofacial vitiligo, afecting only her face (one big spot below the nose all down to the chin, and another in her forehead, connecting with the white streak in her hair) and her hands and feet. When extremely hurt or hungry, these spots will bleed, much like nailed and crowned.
Tatoos and piercings
She is not tattooed, and only has her two ears pierced.
Makeup
Edgy makeup, especially shiny dark lips, is a must.
will wear
- 1940-1960 fashion
- Mexican textiles
- Big, fuzzy layers (shawls, cardigans)

Design & trivia
- She is inspired by the vampire moth, Calyptra thalictri. Any and all moth symbolism is greatly appreciated, as even her shawl and overall figure is design to mimic a moth.
- She moves by jumping around, almost not touching the ground, like Mima's hallucination in Perfect Blue (1997). Her mannerism are similar too.
- She is packed to the brim with firearms. She carries two small golden glocks, but also hides a big golden machine gun in her dress, strapped to her right leg.
- Her Haven, located below a parkland at the border of the city, hides many more firearms and booby traps.
Story
Meeting madness
Calipso, back then under a different name long forgotten, was born on December 22, 1944 in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, inside the literal and metaphorical womb of anarchist activism inspired by Caritina Piña one decade earlier. When she was still a young girl she moved with a group of them to Guadalajara to grow the movement; but, during that time, she met her fiancé.
Her wedding was planned for summer 1964. Her life had every piece in place, and she was a medicine student. And barely a few months before the wedding, in a quarrel with God knows who, Antonio caught a bullet in his right eye.
Every piece, one by one, started falling out. Calipso, reluctant, retreated back to her circles, and into spirals ever so profound while she lost herself in the darkness of the city attempting to make sense of her misfortune. And there, the perfect prey, she met her end... or her beginning.
"One got shot and the other got lost..."
Meeting Death
For a long time, the anarchist heart of the city bled onto the veins of the World of Darkness. Guadalajara belonged to three Anarchist vampire Barons.
It was one of them that took on the poor mad girl, and sired her. Their relationship was strange; some would deem it that of a parent and a child, while others tattled about a romance. The truth was whatever fit the tale. Unguarded and restless after Alberto's demise, Calipso found in her Sire the best brand of sanity: obsession.
On February 14, 2026, the Camarilla staged a coup and executed the three Barons. A new order, known as the Blue Court, was established in the city, and with it their new Prince: Alexander Magus.
"We could take to the highway."
Meeting Magus
Though the remaining Anarchist movement retreated back to Monterrey, Calipso was left stranded. In the trials following the fall of the Barons, she managed to feign support and keep her neck intact, but she knew that she needed to play her cards well. She needed to flee, or play the part.
And she does enjoy a little game.
She presented herself and pleded her loyalty to Alexander Magus. She's keeping distance, but showing support and even fighting for his causes. Her time will come, but in the meantime, she can have her fun and let the Blue Court have their piece of cake.
She gave the visiting Prince from Mexico City a glitter bomb card, of course.
"And if the sun comes up, will it tear the skin right off our bones?"
