Slink is originally part of a rebel group. Fighting against DR. Clockman. Clockman, has been Mechanizing the Genecian's (race of the world) and using them as a personal army to take over the world. All of Slink's Family have been mechanized. She has joined up with a rebel group, and worked as a spy/infiltrator against Dr. Clockman. She fell in love with the leader of the Rebel group, Dash the fox. And upon meeting the party, she discovered Dash was mechanized. Before he could be saved or put down, he vanished in a blinding Flash. And that is where her journey with the party begins.
