personality
Bright, friendly, and maybe just a little bit strange Primrose doesn't take life all too seriously. She's strongly optimistic, though not the point of being naive, and always finds a reason to hope for a better future even during difficult times. Still she understands that people have their own struggles, and if they come to her looking for help, she'll always do everything she can without fear. In fact Primrose is usually the type to reach out to others if she sees them struggling. Thanks to this she's made a lot of connections with many different people and always seems to know someone fit for just about any situation. That said her personality has also rubbed some people the wrong way as well... believing she surely must be hiding something behind a kind facade.
While it's true Primrose may be covering some things up with her outwardly bright personality, it's not something so devious as faking it entirely. Rather optimisim has become her method of coping, and she simply doesn't allow the majority of people see when she's struggling. This has led to some labeling her as "miss perfect", and perhaps deep down she feels the pressure from those words causing her to be even more reluctant in showing her struggles openly. When it all becomes too much for her optimisim to stave off, Primrose instead resorts to aromatherapy or simply taking care of her flowers.
Withering Bud
Life isn't fair. Primrose learned this lesson at a frighteningly young age when she experienced neglect as a child. Unwanted by her parents she often found herself ignored with only the bare minimum needed to keep her alive provided. When even that proved too much for them, Primrose was dumped off in a child care home, where things were hardly any better. Contrasting her present personality Primrose was an unruly and difficult child to handle, often getting into fights with others over food or for attention, and wasn't well liked by either the staff or other children.
Feeling alone, Primrose began spending more and more time away from home, her only solace being the beautiful flower garden near the children's home. It was the only time she found herself forgetting about her worries, surrounded by beautiful blooms and lovely scents, but flowers alone couldn't change her circumstances. The neglect became worse as no one wanted to deal with her, and her behavior only became more difficult as she entered school, where she seemed to get into fights with others even more often.
The Chance to Change
Thanks to her behavior Primrose found herself getting expelled from school after school until her freshmen year of high school. She'd been warned that this was her last chance, the last school in the area, and if she got expelled again she'd have no choice but to drop out. Her reputation preceeded her, however, and on only the third day a group of seniors decided to pick a fight. Angered Primrose almost fell for their provocations, but stopped at the last moment deciding to just take the hit... only it never came. When she opened her eyes a girl she'd never seen was hunched over instead having taken the hit for her. The seniors seemed to recognize her, however, and fled quickly... while Primrose, who'd never been protected before, stood in stunned silence. When the girl asked if Primrose was okay she became even more stunned, wonder how the girl who was hit could ask her that.
Despite not asking and even trying to avoid her, the girl started to follow Primrose around, and she quickly learned some things about her. First, the girl was impossibly optimistic and second, she was the daughter of the principle explaining the seniors reaction from before. Learning this Primrose became concerened that the girl's parents wouldn't be very happy she was hanging out with a troublemaker, but the girl brushed it off with a "they'd never scold me for something like that". Slowly, whether she liked it or not, Primrose grew attached to the friendly girl who couldn't seem to give up on her. And then she discovered what the girl had been hiding.
Terminal illness. The girl broke the news to Primrose while in the hospital after, what Primrose thought, was only the flu. In truth she'd been ill for quite some time and likely didn't have long left. The news shattered Primrose and she lashed out, but the girl didn't admonish her or get upset. Instead, after Primrose calmed down, the two had a serious heart to heart. Primrose asked how she could be so cheerful when facing something so scary, and the girl smiled. What else was she supposed to do? When faced with such an insurmountable problem was she just supposed to wallow away her days in despair, or could she make the best of the time she had left? That alone seemed to resonate with Primrose, and even after leaving the hospital, she kept thinking back to her past.
There's Always Tomorrow
The girl, her first friend, changed something in Primrose. She began making the effort to change and, hopefully, change her life in the process. Even after losing her friend Primrose didn't fall into an endless pit of despair, instead deciding to find a purpose in helping others just like she'd been helped by a seemingly regular girl. "Even when it seems hopeless tomorrow will always come, and with it, the chance to start again." Those last words would always follow Primrose and she began looking forward to "tomorrow" more than ever before.
Moonblast PP15/15
The user attacks using the power of the moon. While Primrose rarely makes use of this move she believes it's important to keep on the back burner just in case. Thanks to her past she's made many enemies, and there's no telling when one of them might want to get their revenge. Still, if she could avoid it, she really doesn't want to fight anyone.
Grassy Terrain PP10/10
The user turns the ground to grass restoring health to those on the ground. This is Primrose's favorite move because of it's wide variety of uses. When it comes to aromatherapy the grass can help provide a more emersive experience. Similarly it helps for making beautiful gardens, and Primrose can even judge a soils quality because of it. Most importantly however... it helps her avoid stepping in mud.
Wish PP10/10
Shortly after it's used, the user's wish will be granted. This move is most often used by Primrose to heal herself or others (including during aromatherapy sessions) as it was intended. However once a month, if she's willing to give the ability up for a full 30 days, she can cast one "larger" wish to make the move do something else... with quite a few limitations. Generally Primrose avoids doing so and uses it for it's intended healing purposes.
Pollen Puff PP15/15
The user launches an exploding puff of pollen at their target. It heals allies and damages foes. Similar to Grassy Terrain, Primrose loves this move for it's variety of uses. While also employing it's use for aromatherapy purposes she also uses Pollen Puff to keep her flowers happy and health (as well as grow new ones)! It's not unusual to see her shop covered in pollen... which is a nightmare for those allergic to it.
