Elliot is... a "Thief," of sorts. He's not the average pickpocket, no. Elliot steals experiences; specifically, the experience of life. He highly enjoys his job, and is a complete sadist, though, not in any sexual means. He really just enjoys the power he feels he gets from removing the soul from the body. As such, he doesn't care about others at all, and really only truly cares about his own well being. Elliot literally only wants to cause as much chaos as he can during his lifetime in the name of the Goddess Lolth, in hopes that one day she might notice him. However, despite his cruel nature, Elliot is a charmer, and also prides himself on winning every game of the mind. He's a wonderful manipulator and liar, often choosing to lure in his prey with his wit before striking the killing blow. Elliot prides himself in having "bullshit stories" about his scars, some of his most used being;

✦ "My own mother struck me with a spear, after I got her involved in one too many accusations."

✦ "A half-orc priestess stabbed me with her sword after I wooed her daughter."

✦ "I pretended to be my twin brother and took his throne. He got me good with his dagger, though. Pretty sure he still got arrested."

All of those stories are fake, of course, and he freely uses them with those he's already told other stories to, usually telling them, "Oh, Luv, you must've misheard me," before launching into his next glorified lie. He doesn't mind if others know he's lying about his scars, of course; when he's actually trying to hide the truth, he'll distract from the fact with completely wild, over-detailed stories, that sound true. It's much better than actually telling them that the scars came from very boring or accidental causes, after all. That, and the first time he died, it was due to licking his dagger to intimidate his enemies. The same dagger, that he'd poisoned just an hour prior to his task. He did end up in hell for that mistake, but he's now escaped alongside Butterbur the Bone Demon and three other hell-bound souls. Elliot hasn't learned anything from his stay in hell, and honestly, he'd do it all again... and probably will.

Cricket - A kid he murdered who came back to haunt him- literally! Truly very interesting indeed that her friends opened a portal to the very realm of the magnificent Queen he worshipped! Hell, if he had known killing her would have eventually granted him an audience with Lolth, he might have made her death painless! Or not.
