Cobalt is generally a sarcastic dragon, always poking a tease at questions or statemenets he finds obvious or silly, more often than not with a clearly incorrect answer for the former. Many find him annoying due to his, but his humour seems to land well with certain crowds.

Past his sarcastic surface, Cobalt is actually pretty observant and cautious. He's able to read body language to a certain degree and uses that to determine how sarcastic he could get, sometimes he misreads, and is quick to back down from potential physical or verbal confrontations. He's also an adventurous dragon, always looking to stretch his claws into something new and keeping a relatively open mind to learning.

Backstory

Cobalt is the older son of two, hatching just a few minutes before his sibling, Betta Fish. He was also unfortunately the first "victim" to his younger sibling's aggressive energy, having lost to play wrestling matches repeatedly. But as he found his love for sarcasm, and used it to tease his sibling, he also quickly learned how to read body language when a chunk of his tail fin was bitten off by his instigated sibling. It grew back, luckily, but only then did Cobalt finally understand how aggressive Betta FIsh was.

But when his sibling was accepted and sent to Jade Mountain Academy, Cobalt still accompanied him and their mother to Betta Fish's first day, and Cobalt still gave his sibling a hug before they left. Nowadays, he spends his time playing with his friends from school and exploring new hobbies, but always cautious of his teasing. He wouldn't want a permanent missing tail fin.

Relationships

Betta Fish

Betta Fish is Cobalt's younger sibling. Cobalt is a little afraid and wary of Betta thanks to the tail fin incident when they were younger, but he still cares for Betta, enough to fly a ways to accompany Betta to Jade Mountain Academy and continously write letters while Betta is in school.

Seaglass

Cobalt has only heard of Seaglass through Betta's letters, but he holds a good opinion on her and wants to meet her someday.
