| Kide is a shy, keyblade-wielding monster! Their parents were monsters from different worlds, the father being from Monstropolis and the mother from Halloween Town. Kide does not live in either world, instead they have chosen to live in Twilight Town! Kide has an apartment in the Sunset Terrace part of Twilight Town, where they live on their own. Due to having a monstrous and strange appearance, people tend to be unnerved by and misunderstand them. Kide doesn't talk much and has a creepy smile, which makes things worse. Since Twilight Town is inhabited by regular humans, they attempt to disguise themselves as one, wearing clothes that hide their monster parts. They also started skateboarding to seem cool to the other teenagers who live in the town. Kide's tail is usually hidden inside their pants, while their horns are hidden by their cap. The shadow cast on their face by the cap helps them hide their cat-like eyes, though this also makes them look suspicious. They also wear gloves constantly to hide their claws. Their skin feels scaly when touched. When traveling worlds etc. they wear their formal clothes, which expose their true form. Their keyblade is Tiger Sunset. Kide is very sweet and quite awkward! They want to fit in and make friends in Twilight Town but struggles due to their general shyness and anxiety about their appearance. They usually smile at strangers in order to seem approachable and nice, but this always backfires as they look incredibly creepy while doing so. Luckily Kide is also a bit oblivious and doesn't seem to always notice when people are weirded out by them. Kide laughs a lot - their laugh sounds like a hyena’s laugh! They are not talkative, but when they do talk people tend to misunderstand their tone and intent. Sometimes Kide feels sad because they do not have many friends, but they are still determined to befriend more people. They love sitting in the woods and listening to the sounds of nature. Sometimes Kide uses their powers as a keyblade wielder and goes to other worlds just so they can sit in the nature during night or dawn, as their home world only has eternal twilight. Nature means a lot to them and they love everything about it. Friendship is also very important to them, and they wish they had close friends they could watch sunsets with. |
