Zoksim, The First God

The embodiment of light and all that is good, creator of the only Tortunian demigods to exist and the Heaven subdimension of Toturnia. In Heaven, he created his council of 5 demigods to watch over in his absences.

At the beginning of time, two godlike entities ruled and built the planet. Mauth and Zoksim were brothers and coworkers in creating their world, but as time passed, Zoksim had gained all the love and affection from his disciples. He was all that had been good. He was worshipped and admired. Mauth remained in the shadows, pulling his weight in silence, while hatred and greed festered and ate its way into his mind.

Eventually, Mauth grew tired of his position. He took Zoksim into isolation and assassinated him, then stole his physical form. For years, he deceived Zoksim's disciples, and ruled with an iron fist.

As time passed, Zoksim's demigods suspected that the god was not like himself, showing examples of erratic and strange behavior. It was soon revealed to them that Mauth had been deceiving them all.

The disciples banded together and assassinated Mauth, but before he was disposed of, he unleashed horrible surges of power and energy that spread corruption across the world; the most notable being the Dream Monster Curse upon Untergan.

He became what is now known as Mauth, The God of Corruption. His influences etched themselves into the minds of man and beast, creating the true diseases of the mind.

Zoksim's legacy was left to be picked up by his demigods, and now the planet reigns godless aside from them, left to stir amongst themselves in the Heaven subdimension as well as in the surface world on Ensole.
