Whist

My MARVEL symbiote oc. I don't have Whist's host drawn up yet, but I've got a bit of info on them as a pair. Creation was inspired by the Venom (2018) movie but doesn't link with the cannon.

Host: Leeland Russ (he/him)

Symbiote pronouns: he/they

Height: 7' 9"

Sexual Orientation: asexual

The two protect a local pharmacy in their city from robberies in exchange for phenethylamine (the stuff Venom ate brains for in the comics).

Before the two figured out why the other craved brains, there were a few unsolved cases of disappearing criminals that haunted the streets. A pharmacist who worked one of the more active streets for attacks ended up helping out in the chemical department.

Whist hunts frequently during daylight hours. They are unnervingly quiet and good at managing their shadow.

Whist works with a group of small-time vigilantes from the same city as they live in. No one from the group knows anything about Leeland. They both prefer it that way.

Leeland works at a small bookstore in the evenings. He was generally fairly active even before becoming a host.
