About:

Zeta is generally kind and empathetic. She is a highly determined individual and will always try to overcome the odds, no matter how small they might be. She is highly protective of her friends and will defend them no matter the consequences. Due to her past she has a soft spot for kids.

From time to time she worries that she isn’t good enough, both as a person and as a leader and will get someone killed. Due to this she tends to overwork herself to make herself useful, resulting in her mentally straining herself.

Dislikes: Sleep, salty food, people being seen as ‘disposable’

History:

Originally lived alongside her brother in a small community outside of the Far East Branch’s walls until their community was attacked by aragami, wiping out most of the inhabitants. Zeta’s brother died during the attack and without him she felt lost. The surviving inhabitants escaped by using an old alarm to keep them in the old camp while they ran away. 

Shortly after the survivors encountered another group who would accept them if they could prove themself useful. The leader of the group lead through fear and expected to prioritize supplies over lives. He was more than happy to let his group know that they were disposable and if anyone stepped out of line they would be kicked out the group and left to die.

Zeta quickly proved herself as a capable fighter and over the years she had done many things she is not proud of. During her time with the group she found some enjoyment in looking after the children in the group. Eventually she confronted the leader on his methods which caused a fight, resulting in her being kicked from the group. Left to fend for herself, she managed to survive by herself using methods she had learnt over the years. After months of travelling she eventually reached the Far East Branch’s walls.

Found to be compatible with a god arc, she became the Far East Branch’s first New-Type god eater, placed into the 1st Unit alongside Kota. She was later promoted to captain after Lindow’s MIA status during the Moon in the Welkin mission.

When the 1st Unit came across the aragami girl Shio, Zeta warmed up to her quicker than she thought she would and started to see her as a younger sister as Shio reminded her of some of the children in the groups that she was a part of outside the wall. When the former Director captured Shio, the 1st Unit headed to Aegis island to get her back, even with the defeat of the Arda Nova, they were too late and the Devouring Apocalypse started to begin. Shio however, takes control of the Nova and takes it to the moon.

Lift returns to normal for Zeta until she becomes critically injured shielding Kota from an attack from a Hannibal after it’s core regenerated. As her god arc was heavily damaged she was unable to go into combat and forced to stay at the Den. During this there was an aragami attack and Zeta saved Licca by using Lindow’s god arc, where she then met Ren. After the Corrosive Hannibal appears, she realised that it is an aragami transformed Lindow through resonance.

Zeta and Ren went to confront the Corrosive Hannibal, Zeta unable to accept that the only save Lindow was to kill him with his own god arc, performed a resonance on it’s core and entered Lindow’s mind. Upon finding Lindow and fighting the infection, Ren who a personification of Lindow’s god arc stops the infection, returning Lindow to normal.

When the Arius Nova escaped Aegis, the 1st unit worked to attempt to take it down though they were unsuccessful. Upon learning they need new bias factors, it was a race against the Nova to acquire them. They encountered a girl similar to Shio a few times along the way. Upon the Arius Nova’s defeat the 1st unit encounters the apparition of Shio once more, allowing them to say goodbye to her. The apparition disappeared taking their messages to the real Shio on the moon.

Zeta became a part of the independent unit Cradle alongside the 1st unit.  During Cradle’s development, Zeta alongside Lindow and Tsubaki embarked on a long term mission away from the Far East Branch. She finally returned to the branch after the the Sacred Ground was formed.

In 2078 she joined in the mission at Fenrir HQ before the calamity occured.

After the calamity she helped work with the survivors and joined Port Dusty Miller once it was formed. During the aftermath of the Ash Tempest Werner caused she set out to recover surviving members of the Crimson Queen and take them back to the port so they could recover.
