Profile

|Name| Marshall L.. Vick

|Nickname| Marsh, Mar, the guy who make terrible fashion choices

|Age| 26

|Gender| Male

|Nationality| American (he has a mixed heritage from his mother’s side, though he never bothered to learn about it)

|Height| 5’7

|Weight| 134  Ibs

|Sexual Orientation| Thought he leans toward men, he’s probably too busy showing you pictures of Juby to actually be interested in any one romantically or sexually.

|Personality|

+Wholehearted

Marshall isn’t a man that does things with an apathetic attitude, if he had his heart set on a goal he’ll throw himself into achieving it, little will shake him off his course.

+Resilient

Nothing much effects Marshall, much like water off a ducks back, he’s made of tougher stuff and it’ll take a lot for him to be mentally or physically crippled.

+Optimist

Despite his attitude Marshall is a giant optimist, though he is realistic, he believes everything will get better eventually and the world isn’t as evil as everyone believes it to be. Juby is a major factor of this personality trait

+Tenderhearted

Though he tries to ignore this trait, our boy is a tender hearted fool whose nature is to be kind, and gentle to others, suppress and lace it barb wires as he may try, it’ll without fail show to those of lesser fortune, or with a meek nature.

+Compassionate

Marshall is a community man, may it be a listening ear, spare coins, or a bit of food he puts out good karma to make the world just a little better.

-Short Sighted

He doesn’t think of consciences in the long run, he’s more of a do it now and regret everything after kind of guy, though It might make for some interesting situations the consequences usually bite him in the ass.

-Self-reliant

Though a man prone to giving out charity, he’s the type to never ask for help, he forgets that sometimes it’s okay to ask for aid when you’re having a hell time.

-Workaholic

A negative side effect of being a wholehearted man, he throws himself into work until he’s forcibly pried away from thousands of side projects and paper work.

-Impulsive

One of Marshall’s major downfall is his impulsive nature he does things without a seconds thought, he barley gives it a first thought in the first place truth be told.

-Thick-skinned

Unless it is blatantly obvious Marshall can’t pick up on subtle signals, he’s the type that needs a giant sign saying ‘Shut UP AND DON’T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE THING, YES YOU MARSHALL’

Marshall isn’t a graceful man, he’s more of a charge and hit them sort of man rather than doing and fancy dodging and blocking.

Out running Marshall is a easy task, he never really had the grace or knack for running, those long legs are more for kicking then moving.

|History| Marshall remembers vaguely once living in a nice area when he was younger where getting mugged or murder wasn’t a particularly concern of his before his mother, Maja, whisked him away in the middle of the night of the 21st, it’s one of most vivid memories he had in his life bright explosions, the screaming, terror and fright in the air, but his mother wrapping him up in her red coat and whispering reassurance and promise of a better life was the most vivid of it all.

Maja started life over again at Alistair Ave. starting a public library and community school for the younger residence, she was always a women who believe that no matter how deadly the situation a book was the greatest weapon you could have Of course the whole lot of it wouldn’t have been possible without aid from a dear old friend of hers, Hershel Vick, he offered his home to her when she needed a place to escape, and start up a business, it wasn’t a surprise the two of them fell in love.

Marshall was happy with it all, sure they weren’t the richest vices on the block, far from it Maja and Hershel barley charged their customers any more then what they knew what was needed to get by. There wasn’t much to worry about when your mother smiled brighter than he ever remember seeing her done before. Maja was pregnant with a second child a few years after she settled with Hershel.

Came in Juby with bright red hair, pretty brown eyes, and a smile that made Marshall’s heart bleed with love. Maja never really recovered from the pregnancy, they couldn’t afford the best doctor on the block and she was always so weak health wise, adding her middle age to it all, the great physical feat just sucked the life out of her. Maja passed away two days after Juby’s birth. The family was struck with grief, the school/library closed down. But there was no time to dawdle in grief when there was a crying child that was suddenly your responsibility.

Marshall tried to pick up their lives again, opened the library again, sold some of his mother’s possessions for that needed extra money they needed for a funeral, fortune Hershel and Maja had the hindsight to have some food, clothing and furniture before Juby’s birth so the first month was rocky but okay, but Juby just kept growing and getting hungrier every day. It didn’t help that Hershel never recovered from the grief and found a new fondness for the bottom of a bottle.

Marshall took step father aside one night to plead for the man to please contribute more the family. It must have gotten through somewhere to the man because he left that night only to show up the next day with a wad of cash. Marshall was thrilled of course, he could finally buy Juby new clothes and the fear of closing down the shop was no longer a worry, but where did the Hershel get the money exactly?

Marshall prodded the man and he just vaguely said something about odd jobs, the truth wasn’t revealed until four years later when Hershel turned up on their door steps beaten to near death. He taken out countless loans from the local drug lord and began selling to repay them, he needed Marshal help now that his sales were dying. All it took was a mention of a vague threat directed towards Juby that he agreed

That was two years ago, free of debt now their income rocketed to a nice high, Marshall tries to convince himself that they need to sever that tie now, but it’s all to glaringly obvious with owning the shop alone they’ll plummet into poverty. He battles between morality and reality everyday now.
