++ Independent, Hardworking: Pebblewhorl isn't afraid to stand on her own. She's had plenty of experience keeping to her opinions and ways even when challenged by cats- family, clanmates, or otherwise. She's also a fairly hard worker, especially when she needs to clear her head. She wants to prove that there are other ways to support your clan than fighting- is she proving that to others or herself?
// Stubborn, Unambitious: Pebblewhorl doesn't have any grand visions for her life. She just wants to live it and be happy with what she's done, a concept Gravelstep wasn't overly impressed with. She's stubborn about her ideals as well- she had many a "mild" disagreement with Skimmertooth or her father over her lack of drive or agreement with their ambitious.
--Indulgent: It's always been somewhat hard for Pebblewhorl to say no to a little slacking off- after all, she works hard most of the time! It's also especially hard for her to not give in to Sleekmeadow.
Pebblewhorl has pale-green eyes.
Her ears are a little larger than most!
At the moment, Pebblewhorl is looking a bit heavier, though it's not too obvious that she's pregnant.
Nunc sed id semper
Pebblewhorl is a silver molly with dark-gray stripes on her face, back, and tail. The stripes on her back have somewhat of a swirling pattern, hence -whorl. She has one black front paw, and slighter darker ears.
Kithood 0-8 Moons: Thistlestripe goes into labour early, unfortunate given the fact that the clan was still fairly early into their journey. They do their best, but with supplies like food and herbs not being the most available, thing's don't go so well. With everything that happens, two of the kittens don't make it and Thistlestripe ends up passing as well from lasting complications, and Gravelstep is left to look after his only surviving kit the best he can. It's touch and go for a bit, but with the help of another queen to help feed Pebblekit, she manages to make it. Being a bit weaker and since they're still journeying anyway, Pebblekit's kithood is extended a bit. Skimmerpaw, Gravelstep's eventual apprentice, also helps out by entertaining and helping look after the kitten.
Apprenticehood 8-15 Moons: With the first part of her apprenticehood spent travelling, Shortwing focuses on teaching the basics of hunting and other such tasks. Tensions rise and as the clan arrives at the beach, Saltwortnose takes supporters and splits off to form Mangroveclan. Gravelstep begins to show some disapproval and disappointment with Pebblepaw's lack of interest in "protecting the clan at any cost", and she begins to feel a bit uneasy with how she sees Skimmerpaw/tooth idolize her father. Skimmer also doesn't seem as... genuine about their ambitions, and Pebblepaw's relationship with both begins to grow strained.
Adulthood 15-Current Moons: Given her warrior name of Pebblewhorl, she continues to grow distant from Skimmertooth and struggles with her relationship with her father. She misses how easy it was as a kitten, knowing her father adored her. Now, it seems every conversation ends in disagreement or disappointed looks. She grows close with Beachbelly, and they have a kitten together named Sleekkit. She dotes on her kitten, giving her everything she could probably want and more. She's determined to not to let Gravelstep potential (probably) disappointment affect her kitten, and probably spoils Sleekpaw more than she should.
She mourns when Gravelstep dies protecting Skimmertooth's mother from a snake, and wishes they could have repaited their relationship somewhat. She and Skimmertooth continue to have a strained relationship, especially as Dogwoodstar comes into leadership and relations grow tenser between the clans. With lives at risk, Pebblewhorl worries about what's to come in the future. And she worries about the lives of her kits.
"Cousins", Alive
Skimmer and Pebble have a tense relationship. She used to look up to reef as a kitten, but as she grew up, reef began to make her feel... uneasy. They remind her of a less reasonable version of her father, and that's saying something.
Father, Dead
Pebblewhorl and her father didn't always see eye to eye. Theoretically, Gravelstep had noble intentions, but the level of ruthlessness he was willing to go to in order to fulfill those intentions wasn't something she agreed with. At least he was genuinely selfless about it, where Skimmertooth is just in it for themself. Still, they also had a tense relationship up until he died, and Pebblewhorl has always secretly wished that things could have been different.
Daughter, Alive
Sleekmeadow is Pebblewhorl's (first) kit, and Pebblewhorl adores her little one. She still fusses over her, and honestly gives in to Sleekmeadow more than she probably should. That honestly hasn't helped Sleekmeadow's personality. Pebblewhorl's a little worried how Sleekmeadow will take having to share her attention when her other kittens come, but it'll be fine.. right?
