Birds usually eat fish right? Well when you're a harpy and the fish is actually a siren things tend to be a little different. Harpies, known for their simple understanding of the world (read-bird brains) tend to get distracted by anything shiny enough to hold their attention. For the birds of paradise flock who live a tropical paradise near a siren's cove, this is both a blessing and a curse. Many harpies become meals for their fishy neighbors however the natural predators have also helped the surviving population adapt to be BIG BLUE BRAINED BIRDS! Big blue brained enough that some of them have been able to figure out a way to get near the shiny scaly things that eat them with out perishing.
Ya'fuo's father was one of the first to successfully court a siren and as such he was known as one of the strongest harpies in the flock. Ya'fuo, as a result, grew up as an intoxicating hybrid stuck between races-he has the voice of a deadly song bird, the pink fluffy plumage of the sweetest love bird, and thin scales which allow him to be semi aquatic. Deadlier then either of his parents but obsessed with love and companionship Ya'fuo's an air head who quickly left his flock to avoid the cycle of envy that would have become his life. Now, he wanders the world looking for anyone who will give him the time of day and old perfume bottles-shiny smelly shards of glass which he adorns his body with and hoards out of harpy instinct.

A ditzy and clumsy harpy, his affection is boundless. He's alluring but coy about it despite an overall boyish facade. A word of warning for anyone who gets too close: he's not one to stay and his absence can be heart breaking as he genuinely is a good soul despite his deadly ancestry.

-Loves smells that he can't quite place, flowers and fruit are a bit boring to him so he can often be seen getting too close to human cities for a smell of something sweet but unique.
-Many people fall in love with him on first sight and so tales have spread about the love bird in the winds, he spends alot of time avoiding poachers and hunters.
-As cunning as a siren but as air headed as a harpy, it's curse to be smart but not have the forethought to act on it. In general though he looks like a dummy compared to most other races.
-Prefers wet and tropical climates too cold and he freezes despite all the plumage.
-He loves the idea of being a nest wife but every time he settles down he finds some other shiny thing to chase and looses sight of his promises. Sometimes he remembers months later and screams because WHERE DID HIS WAIFU GO but he can never find them again
-all his teeth are... sharp
-birds can't smell that well which is why he likes SUPER SMELLY things
