Patricia spent her formative years living a very ordinary life in Brockton, Massachusetts. Making trips throughout such an old state, she became enamored with abandoned buildings; in middle school, she began playing with her father's copy of Final Cut, making videos of the pictures she had taken of overgrown factories and condemned houses, and posting these to Youtube. Despite her young age, she gained a cult following, and she kept thee channel up through the rest of her schooling years. By the time she graduated high school, she felt comfortable enough with the lean living she had carved out of her YouTube channel to skip going to college and dedicate herself full-time to video production.

One fateful summer, Patricia made a trip to Boston to do a video series on its abandoned landmarks. It took a strange turn, however, when she discovered that one of the stops on her trip was occupied—and not by typical squatters, but by a coven of vampires. She attempted escape, but was overpowered and underprepared. Just as she was about to accept death, however, a strange figure swooped in, and she was saved.

The figure approached her after the scuffle. Patricia learned that she had been caught in a supernatural territory dispute, between the vampires and a shadowy cabal of demonic entities. Though saving her was a happy accident, the demon Broker made her know that she now owed it her life, and forced her into a contract to do its bidding at its call.

Seeing the demon's offer as preferable to death, Patricia accepted, and works for the Broker. Recently, it sent her to act on standby in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She traveled there and quickly ingratiated herself with a college-aged group of mortals obsessed with the supernatural, calling themselves Torchwood. Working with these friends by light and with demons by darkness, she hopes to pay her debt to the Broker and win her freedom.
