Xaphan

Xaphan is a Jolly natured Charmander/Houndoom hybrid but despite this, he has none of the colors that those two pokemon have and in fact, has a really unique skin among the other experiments. He may not have the same horns as a Houndoom but they are still visible and appear as sharp bone horns that are covered by skin. He was created by Team Rocket. Not really much is known about him besides his type which seems to be Dark/Fire. The reason why his flame tail doesn't appear is a total mystery, even for his creators, however, rumors said that he avoids to summon his fire tail as it may be a danger for everyone...However, it is just the fact that Houndoom has a heart shaped tail that doesn't need to be on fire to live so perhaps this affected his ability of keeping his flame on. He follows the Charmander evo line as he grows up and can mega evolve in both X and Y forms as the Charmander gene is dominant.
