Personality:

Lovey is a little on the bitter side. Once peppy, eager, and passionate, those days are long gone now. Now they’re cynical, rather moody, and just generally reserved. They don’t enjoy opening up, despise feeling vulnerable, and regard things like love and friendship as unnecessary and a burden. Love is a “lone wolf” through and through these days, but when doing his job he tries to maintain his sunny persona, only to not tank his performance reviews. Service with a smile! Blah. Who cares.

Their personality spiral is the product of being harshly rejected by a longtime friend, and crush. They haven’t spoken since, and although it’s been years, the harsh reality of “fairytale moments” has been a cynical thought that’s largely warped Lovey’s perception of everything around him, even long after getting over his rejection. The abandonment from someone he considered his confidant has left him a bitter, lonely shrew, who rapidly pulls away from any sort of friendships or attachments in the name of emotional self preservation. Friends can’t leave you if you don’t have any to begin with. It’s better this way, he thinks. You’d have to be one stubborn fool to somehow make his acquaintance.

Likes: Piano music, the smell of rain, soft clothing, cats, silence, being alone, taking walks, laying face down on his kitchen floor (yes, seriously), coffee, muffins.
Dislikes: large crowds, yelling, being alone, being vulnerable, being emotionally honest, hearing about other people’s success and happiness, mint.

Extras: Lovey has a couple cats! They’re his “only real friends“ according to him. He spoils them lots and is very cuddly with them!
