Jupiter

The only word that comes to mind when asked to describe Jupiter's personality is contradiction. Reckless yet level-headed, impulsive yet resourceful, charming yet manipulative, blunt yet incredibly kind. None of it makes sense, not to anyone. He's an enigma.

It's almost as if he possesses a personality on-off switch, able to turn off the let's-go-cliff-jumping-i-need-an-adrenaline-rush side of his personality and turn on the side that is ready to offer intelligent life advice to those that didn't really ask. Almost no one actually asks for the advice-giving, rational side of him but it's the side that is most present so it's the side that everyone is going to get. Most label him as being very blunt because of this, but he's the nice kind of blunt. mostly.

To literally no one's surprise, he's quite the people person. Maybe it's some sort of aura he exudes, maybe it's because he's actually genuinely kind to people, no one will really know. But regardless, everyone seems to be drawn towards him and Jupiter loves it. He loves being the center of attention and enjoys making new friends and acquaintances. Plus, being nice to people can get one certain helpful and important contacts and connections.

Absolutely brilliant, Jupiter possesses a razor sharp mind with an uncanny ability to think fast and think smartly, getting himself (and others) out of bad situations that would have caused shit to hit the fan. Resourcefulness and problem solving come naturally to him, allowing him to come up with helpful solutions that can resolve any issues one might have. Never one to take sides, he's the go to mediator, wanting to get both sides of the story before offering up any of his trademarked advice. A calming presence, he's often viewed as a rock or an anchor, a person others go to when they need to be grounded or when they need help.

Sometimes he has to take advantage of other. Over the years, Jupiter has learned how to turn on (and up) the charm to get what he wants and/or needs. People often mistake charming Jupiter for nice Jupiter but the two Jupiter versions are very different from one another. Nice Jupiter is an all around people person who genuinely wants to be around and help them. Charming Jupiter is a skilled manipulator who knows how to pretend to be his nice self and use his kind words for his own benefit. Unfortunately for his "victims", they often fall right into his trap. The only people who don't fall into his trap are his family and he's not stupid enough to try it on them.
