Abigor

She’s a sweet girl. She’s just moved to town, so she stands out a bit. She’s got a pretty accent, but she doesn’t talk much. She’s always smiling and likes to be around you. *Really* likes being around you. She asks you out on a date. She keeps suggesting things that make your heart race. She’s sitting in the passenger seat. You won’t be coming home tonight.

Abigor is a succubus. Born in the underworld, Abigor has moved to the surface (relatively) recently. Her path has been all over the place, from Europe to Australia and now North America, but her chosen targets have remained largely the same. Typically young men from small towns, but always someone with a shallow view of relationships. Start hanging around them, sit still, look pretty, agree with whatever they say. Eventually find someplace where the two of them can be alone… and a death can look like an accident. ‘Distracted driving’ is Abigor’s personal favourite. Then she vanishes. Try it a few more times before having to skip town and finding a new hunting ground.

While her relationship with individual humans tends to be pretty sour, Abigor’s relationship with human culture is even more bizarre. She’s not all that well informed about pop-culture or typical human ways of life, only learning it secondhand from her prey. She’s fascinated by it but she doesn’t quite “get” it. Music, television, fashion… It's all very new and strange, and she likes indulging in it. There’s this new thing, maybe you’ve heard of it? It’s called religion?

You can call her cruel, but in her own mind Abigor is doing the world a service. She’s not heartless, she’ll let a few go unharmed. But the ones she kills? These people were never going to have happy relationships, never going to change. She’s pest control.
