named him kaytlyne not expecting to get emotionally attached. kate is easier. anyway, he is a republic trooper. brave to a fault. can come across stoic but is kind to those in need. very determined.

Kallie
kallie is kate's mother. after ski disappeared mysteriously when kate was young, kallie has of course been doing her best to take care of him, and later supports him when he leaves to find ski, although she worries about him!! they have a good relationship.
Ski
ski is kate's father. kate has only a handful of memories of ski. he has been looking for his father and trying to figure out what happened. they'll meet again someday i promise.
Skar
skar was originally assigned to kill kate. the two of them had many encounters, but skar never had the heart to finish the job. after tentatively allowing skar to follow him on his journey, kate has come to trust skar despite their differences.
