Jitsua

Kamiya Jitsua, known only as Sua to the few people she allowed close, was once considered the pride of the Kamiya-Clan. Calm, disciplined, and exceptionally talented, she embodied everything the family valued in an exorcist: control, intelligence, composure, and unwavering devotion to tradition. Yet beneath her obedience lived a quiet defiance, one she rarely showed openly. While others within the clan viewed spiritual power as something to regulate and preserve, Sua believed it should also be understood with compassion.

That belief became most apparent in the way she treated her younger brother.

Where the clan saw instability and danger in Kamiya Noroi (Rakan), Sua saw a lonely child desperate to belong. She never considered him broken, no matter how harshly the family treated him. While the rest of the household distanced themselves from him, she remained at his side, becoming the only genuine source of warmth and validation in his life. As they grew older, Sua began secretly teaching him the very things he had been forbidden to learn. Hidden away from the clan’s watchful eyes, she passed down foundational exorcism techniques, spiritual theory, and methods of control, carefully sharing pieces of the world he had been denied. When the family discovered what Sua had done, they responded immediately. Sua was confined, and subjected to strict training. Rakan was cut off entirely. The siblings were forbidden from seeing one another again. Before they were separated, Sua gave him a broken strand of prayer beads, a small, imperfect keepsake that Rakan still carries years later.
