> Juniperspots, also known as Matt, is a spiky, medium-furred ginger tom with darker freckles, purple eyes, and a white chest, belly and declawed paws. He can sometimes be seen wearing a purple hoodie.
Formerly a housecat in the city before his owners succumbed to the apocalypse, Juniperspots now resides in ColaClan alongside his friends Bearcloud, Hollowstorm and Embersky, whom he met in his younger adolescence.
Originally named Matt, he first met Tom (later Hollowstorm) before anyone else inside ColaClan. Although Matt dropped his housecat name alongside Tom after becoming closer with Bearcloud, who was named Bearpaw at the time.

- Juniperspots has a hidden den inside the ColaClan camp where he stores all the various twoleg trinkets he has found over the years. Only Bearcloud actively knows of this.
- Juniperspots has NPD and suffers from occasional faltering memory.

- Despite vowing to not wanting to use the name Matt again, Juniperspots couldn't help but regain fondness for the name after the dispute in the city which helped Bearcloud and Embersky think of their own disguise names.
Matt was born to a pair of unknown parents inside the city with twolegs, twolegs who specialised in showcasing their cats to varying audiences. Matt spent a majority of his kithood relatively looking forward to this stage of his life, often observing the twolegs.
Later on in his kithood, Matt was unrightfully declawed by his owners to prevent any future aggression or furniture damage. This expierence severely messed with him physically and mentally, making him fear what else may be done to him without respect for his own autonomy.
When the zombeh apocalypse brutally claimed his twolegs, Matt ran away from his home, vowing to never enter a twoleg den again. He soon meet a younger tom, named Tom. Matt found this name unreasonably funny and the two, although maybe more reluctantly on Tom's end, became friends with Matt frequently visiting his home, although never entering.
Soon after, Matt, again, ran into another cat by the name of Bearpaw, who he took a slight fancy too, especially his name. Matt quickly introduced Bearpaw to Tom and the three formed a small friendship group among the world falling down around them. Interested, Matt asked Bearpaw to explain his name, who then offered to give Matt and Tom a name similar to his. Matt was renamed to Juniperpaw, alongside Hollowpaw.
When Bearpaw introduces another young cat to their group, Emberpaw, who claimed he was from further away, Juniperpaw was skeptical of the young tom's intentions, this sparking frequent animosity between the two strikingly similar cats. This tension eventually eased after Emberpaw proved his worth to the group in Juniperpaw's eyes.

Juniperspot's close friend and the first impression he had on wild cats. Unlike other first impressions within the group, Bearcloud and Juniperspots bonded instantly, with Juniperspots being the first to move in to what would become ColaClan's camp alongside Bearcloud. Juniperspots tends to only be trust and rely on Bearcloud within his 3 friends, often siding with the older tom in early disagreements.
Juniperspots first formal friend, meeting after zombehs had raided his original home Juniperspots clicked fast with Hollowstorm, on the other end? Not so much. When Hollowstorm decided to move in with Juniperspots and Bearcloud, Juniperspots was originally distrustful of the cat's erratic behaviours after the death of his parents. This tension eased as Juniperspots realised he wouldn't be subjected to Hollowstorm's more aggressive outbursts.
Being introduced by Bearcloud, Juniperspots was quickly skeptical of Embersky, causing tension in the group for a short while until Juniperspots began to trust ColaClan's newest addition more. Despite not being as close as anyone else in ColaClan, Juniperspots maintains a close bond with Embersky even with their initial aggression and clashing personalities.
