14 - Male - Robot Chermolisinian

   He was built as a replacement for a lone alien scientist's dead son. This is the first robot to have the ability to grow, actually! It was a new alien technology discovered by this race, The Chermolisinians. There was a mechanism inside of him that would slowly push metal pieces outwards in a way to create an illusion that he was growing in height and detail.

   Some parts eventually need replacements or upgrades however, nothing is perfect! The scientist was just so proud of his creation and loved him just like his son...but he could never brush the feeling of guilt that loving him was just denying the true fact his son will never really come back.

   Active was always so happy-go-lucky like any other kid, playing and jumping around with eager joy until he turned 12. When he turned 12 there was an awful solar storm on the planet that wiped out all the power on the planet... including even the lab's backup energy, where his dad was locked inside by the doors.

   During the panic and warnings, he saw other Chermolisinians running frantically past him. They were running towards an emergency rocket! The people on this planet had waited for this storm for years like it was destiny but despite this, it was still a surprise.

   Nevertheless, they were prepared. They booted the rockets and planned to evacuate the planet. In their mythology it described a storm that would mark the end of their world. A sudden blast and then a meteor would be soon to come. It would strike the planet and split it in half. There was no escape.

   The guards had told him to leave his dad behind, as there was no real way to help him, there was no time. They told Active to get on the rocket without him. He said no, but the crowd of worried people was so dense that he couldn't push his way through, he was shoved and trampled until he had no other choice but to move onto the rocket.

   They would depart successfully and fly off. He would notice throughout the ride that the solar storm had damaged parts in his mechanics and he began to malfunction. He tried to repair himself but no matter what he did he could never stop the oil leaks and sparking that came from his body. He had to cross his fingers that he didn't end up being set aflame by his own electronics.

   This ride lasted two years before the plan was to pick a few planets to colonize, they'd drop down and send out smaller ships. Active took one of these ships and headed straight for Earth.

   He made it to earth and ran away where he condemned himself inside of a broken building in a rainforest. He says that the building is just as broken as him...

   Eventually, he met another alien named Dairren and got on good terms. He didn't really like him a whole lot but he's the only friendly person he's met on Earth so far and he shared common traits with Active so he decided to stick by his side.

   Soon, with time, he had built a tiny cat robot as well to be like a friend or companion of some sort. He named it Scrap! Scrap and Active are inseperable.
