Personality? Yeah he got that too.

History

Raised by a pair of musicians, Shinya was surrounded by music his entire life. From as early as five years old he was taught to play the piano, already participating in small concerts by the time he was nine. He loved it. The music, the applause, the way his fingers seemed to glide across the keys on their own, creating melodies and songs that brought joy to not only himself but to his audience as well.

His younger brother Shouhei joined him vocally after he turned eight, Shinya was twelve at the time and enjoyed being a team with him. For years performed songs written by their parents, sometimes just the two of them, sometimes as part of a bigger band. To make all of this possible, the brothers were home-schooled; public schools wouldn't allow them to make as much room for their music, after all.

A few months after Shinya turned 20 the brothers' dream ended.

They were in the middle of performing a new song, Shinya playing with his eyes closed, listening to his brother's soothing voice, when the power suddenly left them. Stuck in the dark and with worried whispers from the audience in his ears, Shinya cleared his throat and asked them to stay calm and wait for emergency powers to kick in. Before that happened, however, the building was struck by lightning and caused a fire, staff and security quickly guiding everyone outside with before anyone got injured.

Outside, Shinya watched the building go up in flames with sadness in his eyes, turning away when the firefighters arrived to take care of the situation. It was then when he noticed his brother was missing. Panicking, he asked around if anyone had seen him, but the answer was always no. Imagining the worst, the acted without thinking and charged back into the building, pushing off anyone trying to stop him. If Shouhei was still inside he had to get him out. He couldn't leave his little brother behind. It didn't take long to find him. Scolding him for staying behind, Shinya took his hand and they made a run for it.

They had almost reached the exit when the ceiling started to collapse, separating the brothers from each other. Shinya told his brother to go ahead, reassuring him he would be fine. Surrounded by flames, Shinya was on the verge of having a panic attack as he looked around to find another exit. He found one and made a run for it, tripping over a chair in the process and falling to the floor. Just then, another part of the ceiling collapsed and fell on top of the pianist, knocking him out instantly.

When Shinya next opened his eyes he was at the hospital. Thankfully he was found fast enough to avoid serious injury, getting away with 'only' a concussion, a broken wrist from the fall and a huge burn scar on the right side of his body going from shoulder-blade to knee. Doctors told him that his wrist might not heal properly in which case may not be able to keep playing like he used to.

Weeks passed and once the burn had healed properly, Shinya was discharged. His wrist was still in a brace and would likely remain in it for the next half year. Being unable to properly use his left hand, Shinya taught himself to use his right one instead; it took him a while before he managed to make his writing readable.

Two years after the incident, Shinya had found himself an office job at Stardust Production. His wrist never healed the way it should, frequently causing him pain if strained too much, and so he'd given up on going back to his pianist days. He was upset at first but quickly found joy in his new job; he was still more or less working in the music industry, after all.

One day, after a particularly stressful day at the office, Shinya went out to drink with his friend Momo, who he met during some charity event a few months prior. The other, cheerful as ever, slid his phone across the table, telling Shinya to take a look at the YouTuber duo he'd found. He was too tipsy to really take note of them right there but when he went to check them out properly the next day, he was taken in by the boy's performances immediately.

As soon as he was back at the office, Shinya showed the channel to his boss, urging him to scout them as they seemed to have great potential. [Boss man] agreed under the condition that Shinya be the one to manage them.
