While she is more moderate when it comes to her faith as a Muslim, she still chooses to wear hijab in public. She likes to use different kinds of scarves with fun designs, especially ones with floral patterns.
Asja loves to experiment with DIY fashion, with much of her wardrobe consisting of items from thrift stores that she later customized. She especially likes to mix patterned fabrics on shirts, vests, and skirts.
She loves teddy bears and has a big collection of them.
Since moving to France for her job, she married a man from Dagestan that she met in her French language class. She chose to keep her maiden name to avoid the hassle of changing it.
