Mimi

Mimi is supposedly Six's apprentice. Except he isn't actually trying to mentor her with anything in particular. He claims he's preparing her to begin learning alchemy, but they don't actually have any knowledge about the subject besides the basics. Mimi knows this but doesn't complain about it beyond a few deadpan comments. Truthfully, they've both gotten very cozy traveling together in the past few years. Mimi looks up to Six in the way a child would to a parent and Six frets over her, is extremely protective of her, and swells with pride at her every accomplishment.

They met when Mimi was 12 and had been kicked out by her parents for accidentally detonating a half-made potion in her room. Her parents were already simply tolerating her, stressed and afraid of these dangerous activities their child was pursuing. Therefore, the moment she gave them a real reason to send her on her way out, they impulsively did so. Hoping she will find the right path if they told her to find a mentor within the Mage's District.

Six was the first one to sit down on one knee and talk to her, being familiar with handling upset children from his public performances. They brought her to a tavern to eat and confidently said they would get her a place that would care for her within a few days. A few days turned into weeks, then months, then years. Not because Six couldn't find anyone but because they couldn't let go of each other and the thought scared them.
