Chiyo Koizumi

A baker from a small town. His bakery is small but inviting... almost as equally inviting as him. It isn't easy to miss the gossip about how he can be rather promiscuous, and has a lot of frequent nighttime visitors.

Chiyo has a feminine air about him, both his mannerisms and his appearance. He has an effortlessly beautiful look about him, and is very invested in things like skincare and fashion. Speaking to him feels like speaking to someone you've known a long time, so it's easy to let your defenses down around him and chat about anything. Although he's a good listener, he rarely ever mentions details from his own past, and for a good reason.

Chiyo was raised mostly by an aunt after his parents passed in an accident. Due to his aunt working a lot, Chiyo found himself all alone in her house, with no one to keep him company. He raised himself from his pre-teen years, and barely spoke to his guardian.

Driven by loneliness, Chiyo reached out to any attention he could get. He dated around a lot when he was young, making some enemies along the way. Because of this, he was regularly brutally beaten and harrassed by his bullies.

The bakery down the street from his house was what first got him interested in baking. He used to stop by to get something to eat on his way home, and the owner took good care of him, sometimes cleaning his wounds when he would come in after getting into a fight. He began to work there when he was old enough, finding his passion in baking.

Although he wasn't old enough to remember the Apokalypsis, he felt the effects just as much. The town he grew up in fell apart in a horrible incident, and he barely escaped with his life. He found himself travelling for a while, then eventually ended up in Aelmere.
