Where there's a pier in Whitelight Shores, decorated in fairy lights, it's certain to see Ruelle sitting amongst them- listening to the crashing of the waves against the old wooden posts. Most residents of Etharia would be jealous of her for being so fortunate to live in such a beautiful city, however, this place holds more spoiled memories than good. Ruelle, growing up in a less fortunate area was no stranger to pain and suffering and spent her whole life stuck in a whirlwind of sadness and torment. Being an only child, Ruelle thought life would be easy, but she was soon mistaken the older she became. Her family began to become abusive and controlling, taking complete advantage of Ruelle's existence. It didn't help that her parents were much too irresponsible and immature to care for a child as is, which only served to cause the poor little girl more grief than ever necessary. Living in such conditions made Ruelle resentful, as well as hateful toward the world and those around her.

There came a point in time when Ruelle decided to pack her things and run away, getting lost in the many streets of Whitelight Shores, losing her way, and stumbling upon a large pier decorated in fairy lights. A large carnival was taking place, but the soft glow of the lights and subtle rainfall of that night soothed her frayed nerves and weary mind, giving her the strength to create the life she knew she had always deserved. From then on, Ruelle did everything she could to make sure she could survive on her own, getting a job as a bartender at a popular nightclub during the evenings. She snagged her own apartment after living on the streets for a couple of months, finally cementing herself in a new life. Currently, Ruelle continues to bartend, trying her best to allow others in and trust them enough to befriend them.
