Profile
Northwind was born to Gale and Nightfrost along with 4 other siblings. At 1 month old her sister was killed by a coyote, and Nightingale and Sulphur became sickly. Northwind could see the strain between her parents, and it became more obvious as she got older. They hardly spoke to one another once their second litter was born. Northwind enjoyed being an older sister. She enjoyed that the little ones looked up to her. She could tell that Gale was favoring Nightingale, but within the next year her and all of her litter mates left. Northwind was the only firstborn left in the pack.
She had helped raise so many pups, she felt ready to have her own, but didn't think to leave the pack since she was 6 years old. Gale promised the pack to her and after they had their 7th litter, they died at 9 years old. By the time Northwind inherited the pack, so many of her siblings had left. It seemed they weren't confident in her abilities to lead it. To those who did stay, she would do her best to prove them wrong.
