There is a poison that seeps deep within my kin. My little Silentcloud is blinded, but not you... not you, my dear. My heart aches with what could have been, seeing your young spirit, willing to do whatever it took to keep your mother safe... rules be damned. I can't help but imagine the kind of life I could have led had they never stolen my precious daughter from my paws. If the twolegs had never stolen my first litter. I... imagine that they would be a whole lot like yourself, Wisteria. I see their little faces in your own. I won't lose this chance.
Perhaps I am foolish, but I feel that you are far too clever to have lost yourself to WhistleClan. They forced your paw, didn't they, my dear? They would have preferred to see your own grandmother's blood on your claws, for something as asinine as "loyalty"... but we won't let them have that pleasure, will we? I believe in your promise. You will come back to me. With any luck, little Silentcloud will, as well. I only pray that it isn't too late by then.
I can’t trust you. There is something not right. I see it. Maybe not fully, but I see it. Please just stay away.
Honesty is a rare commodity in these clans. Your doubts regarding your place here reflect my own. As a mother, I genuinely do hope that you leave while you are still able. It's clear that your little ones are afraid, afraid enough to act against it all... and with how your WhistleClan handles dissenters... well, let us hope that you've learned from Mink.
I have met many a stranger in my travels. Admittedly, a clan cat is new. I see their doubts when they look at you, their fear... perhaps you are exactly what we need.
I will never forget your wretched face. Do you feel guilt? Or anything at all, tearing my daughter from my paws all over again, parading around the idea that its out of "care"? You aren't her mother. None of you are.
"Mediator"... I was a fool for thinking that meant anything more than a title. You are clan-blood, poisoned just as all the rest. The only peace you see worth protecting is your own.
I knew that Selkiefrost had kits she wanted to protect... oh how the moons fly by. You seem to have your mother's sense, or at least a good heart. Let us hope you aren't killed for it.
I... I don't know. Ya' don't seem all too bad, in all honesty, when I spoke to ya'. But you also kidnapped Silentcloud, and I don't like that. I.. I don't know what ta' feel about you. As long as ya' don't do anythin' again, maybe... I dunno. You're weird. You're not good, but you don't sound like a bad cat.
Unlike the clans, the Summit understands the value of blood. Family. You are no different— your care extends to cats beyond your borders, and for that I am grateful. I intend to maintain our alliance by whatever means necessary.
If there is some cat out there looking for you, pray they never meet the company you keep.
I want to understand you. I really do. But quite frankly, the way you speak disgusts me down to my bones. I will never forget how I saw you talk to Silentcloud... A mother should try and understand their children- not impose their will upon them. I live in worry that one day you'll return.
Your mother ought to focus on her actual kin. Maybe listen to them a little closer, too.
You need to wake up. The world is not kind to blindly-loyal hearts. They stole everything from us— Dusk, Mink... and unless you are prepared from them to take your life next, I suggest that you take your family and run.
I know you want the best for Silent. I know how it feels, to see your kit wither away, despite everything you’ve tried to do. I wish I could’ve been there, when it went down. Maybe things could’ve changed?
…
Yet, something within tells me that this was the path you were destined to follow. Could we have possibly reasoned with you any further? Just getting you back to the camp had my heart in my throat, like trying to pull a single branch out from a dam without it crashing over. If I had more time with you, maybe we could’ve come to a greater understanding between you and the clan. I held out hope for that, but I think I always knew that would never happen. Every word I said to you, convincing you to give Silent up, was laced with poison that soured my tongue. I knew you’d never be allowed to stay. All we had to do was get you closer to our territory and away from Silent before dealing with you.
Gatorthrash says she killed you- may you find peace in the stars, and watch over your family from there, but let them determine their own destiny without meddling in it.
