Charlie Cooke's Comments

Her name is Charlie Cook, don’t wear it out.

She’s a gal who seems like the stereotypical “rude girl who tries to be emo”, but she’s really not. Withdrawn, snarky, sarcastic, a tad edgy, and creative, yes—emo? Nope. What she lacks in charisma and social interaction, she makes up for with a creative and intelligent mind. Her head is often in the clouds (sometimes to ignore others), thinking of who knows what. Her vocabulary consists of short phrases and such, like “Uh okay”, “whatever”, “yo,” and the like.

Charlie originally lived with her mother and father, but her mom left Charlie and her father and never contacted them again. Her father remarried, and the new stepmother is the embodiment of a fairytale character—the wicked stepmother, that is. She’s sweet and caring when her husband is around, but the minute he’s out of earshot or sight, she’ll do what she can to make Charlie miserable. More chores, no candy (yeah, that’s a concern), get your head outta the clouds, stop doodling, go to bed at 7:30... the list goes on. Charlie’s dad is none the wiser.

Her room is her safe spot, her haven of hope, her glimmer of light. The door stays closed and locked, with a key with whereabouts only she knows of. Her room is a simple light beige on the walls, with white carpeting and white shutters over the windows. It’s where she listens to music and practices the one hobby no-one knows of; dancing. The ceiling is adorned with several lights that look like they came from a Christmas sale. The majority are a faint yellow, but the others are white. She keeps a jar of lollipops hidden in her room at all times.

Charlie has an unhealthy addiction to candy, specifically hard ones—especially lollipops. Surprisingly, she doesn’t have a single cavity in her pearly white teeth. In her free time, she goes to her room and listens to music through her earbuds, dances, or visits the local coffee shop for a caramel latte. Photography is also a hobby of hers.

Oddly enough, “Cooke” is one of the worst last names she could have, as the girl can’t cook the simplest things. Often gets nosebleeds for some reason. Likes to wear sweaters and long pants. Charlie suffers from severe Astrophobia, the fear of thunder and lightning.

((Thanks so much for the opportunity! Love the design, I connected right away haha. Let me know if I messed up at all!))
