Sorry it isn't short, but I had ideas for his whole story o-o :3

Name: Vaughn Maxwell Alias: VMax Age: 27 Lives: Zootopia Personality: Serious, calm, laid-back, tough Secret Personality: Smart, softy, charming, funny Backstory: Vaughn is a very tall, handsome white tiger. He was born into a rough situation, immediately he was given to an orphanage after being found on the streets. He lived in the orphanage until he was 10, when a tiger couple, who couldn't have kids adopted him into a very large welcoming family. He now had aunts, uncles and cousins, not to mention grandparents. After he turned 18 he left and found a mediocre job, that paid him enough to live in an apartment. One day, Vaughn was on the streets walking around, looking through garbage. It wasn't the best part of the city, many of the gangs in the city hung out in the ally's he was walking through. He was rifling through some garbage when two wolves grabbed him from behind and shoved him down on the ground, before he could do anything. Vaughn felt helpless as they took his bag and looked through it. But, something clicked. Vaughn stood up and picked up a stick that was on the ground. "I can't just let them do that!", he thought to himself as he shouted, "Hey you! You can't just steal like that!" He then ran over to them and swung the stick from side to side, wacking them once or twice. The wolves pounced on him and they had a big brawl. One of the wolves was white and had a blind right eye. The other was an average grey wolf. The white wolf slid his claws right across Vaughn's nose. As Vaughn roared with pain, he pushed so hard that he made the wolves fly into the air. He stood up once again and snarled fiercly. The wolves laughed and snatched his bag... running off down the ally. Vaughn sat down on the ground and held his face in his hands. A while later, a black panther came over with his arms crossed and said to him, "Well, hello there. You're quite the fighter. I saw you taking on those two wolves... You've got quite the strength. But, let me warn you Mr. Don't mess with a wolf, for the pack will come running." At that he put a hand on Vaughn's shoulder. "Pal, if we work together we won't have to worry about those wolves anymore. Join my gang and we could go far." Vaughn was blind to see the holes in his offer, "Sounds... alright." The panther held out his hand to help him up. Vaughn took it and stood two feet towering over him. "Ah this one's a tall one too. What should I call you?" "You can call me Vaughn." "Nice to meet you Vaughn, I'm Ronvai." Vaughn wasn't always a trouble maker in the city. But, as soon as he joined Ronvai's gang, he went downhill from there. He never showed up for his niece's ballet or spent Christmas or Thanksgiving with his family anymore. His parents would call, he wouldn't pick up. Now he has become hardened and serious. No laughter comes from him. Ronvai had deceived him, the real cost of joining a gang. He was 19 when he joined and now he's 26. As one of the gang's enforcers he stood watch at doors and was there to fight anyone who challenged them. Fast-forward to today, his gang was raided an apartment complex. They ran through all the rooms in the building. When Vaughn was on the last 5 rooms of the building he crossed a young, beautiful tiger named Tahali and her nephew Atikai. Although he didn't know their names at the time. He saw their panicked faces, the tears that streamed down their faces and realized what he was doing, was wrong. The gun he held in his hand dropped down and he stared at them with sorrowful eyes. Tahali stared up at him, as she and her nephew were huddled behind a bed. Their eyes met and Vaughn looked away. Ronvai came from behind, "Anybody left?" Vaughn stared at Ronvai with dark glazed eyes. Vaughn's eyes dropped to Ronvai's gun. Vaughn glanced up at Ronvai and shoved him onto the ground. Ripping the gun from his hands and pointing it at him. He shot Ronvai's leg so he wouldn't be able to follow. He then locked him in a closet, but first he stopped Ronvai's leg from bleeding out. Ronvai shouted in his face, "I knew you never were going to be good enough! That's the biggest mistake of your life!" Vaughn stared at him and said aloud, "I know what the biggest mistake of my life is." He then shut the closet door and mashed the door knob off, so no one could open it. Vaughn jogged over to the young tiger with her nephew and pulled her to her feet without any warning. She screamed, but was so confused at this point. "Hush" was all Vaughn said and she stopped immediately. Vaughn started down the exit stairs, but two armed gang members were rushing up the stairs. He whipped around and darted down the hall, with Tahali trailing behind him. He then ran up the stairs on the otherside of the building, to the roof. Standing on the roof he rushed from all four sides of the building. Vaughn then stared off at a building across from where they stood. Vaughn turned around just as the limping Ronvai, three wolves and 2 other panthers came out of the stairwell. He hid Tahali and atikai behind him. Tahali was enticed by how giant and strong Vaughn looked. Her mind whirled with many questions. Why was he helping them? Why was he so tall! Why me!? but before she could think of anymore questions. Ronvai pointed a gun at him, "You shouldn't have done that Vaughn." Vaughn was his name? The person who rescued her and her nephew, his name was Vaughn. Ronvai chuckled as he saw a glimpse of Tahali behind him, "You found a girl!" He laughed maniacally. "She won't be here for long." Ronvai shifted the gun in his hand and pulled the trigger. At that, Vaughn shoved Tahali to the ground, so she couldn't be hit. Tahali pulled her hands over her head and covered Atikai with her body, as a barrier between him and Ronvai. Vaughn took the bullet. It went straight into his chest. He then rushed forward at Ronvai. The wolves and the panthers all pounced on him, multiple shots were fired, but none hit Vaughn. He threw the attackers from place to place, until they all ceased to try and fight. Vaughn raced at Ronvai and lifted him into the air as Ronvai stumbled for his gun. Vaughn pulled the gun from his hands and crushed the barrel in his hand. "Don't ever cross me again Ronvai. Next time, I might not be so kind. I see what it really is to be in a gang, now. You do whatever it takes, even if it takes innocent lives." Vaughn dropped Ronvai. Police swarmed the building and a couple minutes later cops came out on the roof and apprehended Ronvai and his gang. Vaughn dropped to his knees, the intensity of the bullet within magnifying in pain. The police caught sight of Vaughn, Tahali and Atikai and started forward. Tahali stood from afar watching Vaughn struggle on the ground. Her nurse instincts wanted to help him, but her mind was afraid to touch him. He glanced up, hearing heavy feet behind him. He managed to stand. The police came near, but Vaughn ran... and jumped and landed... on the roof of the building next to the. The policemen all rushed over and watched as Vaughn made his leap. He tumbled but managed to get up and he slowly hobbled off. Holding his side, he looked back and saw Tahali staring at him. The Rhino policeman beside her was trying to say something to her, but she just stared.

Vaughn made his way down the building and walked outside. He walked for many blocks and finally made it to his apartment. That he managed to keep all this time. He took the key from his pocket and fumbled until it went into the lock. His neighbor Doris the old Elephant came out with a basket of freshly baked bread. She saw Vaughn thud against the wall. As she studied him from afar, she smiled and walked forward, "Vaughn dear, you need some rest." She pushed him aside gently and opened the door, "Here have some bread. It's Mama Doris's secret recipe." She smiled and waddled off down the hall. Vaughn watched her as she turned the corner of the hall. He then walked into his apartment, a piece of bread in hand. He set the piece of bread on the counter and slumped onto his bed in pain. He held his side and removed his hand and looked down. Blood stained his clothes and his hand. He pulled his shirt off and took some bandages from his dresser's drawer. First he managed to pull the bullet out after many painful tries. He then wrapped his torso tightly and laid back on his pillow. His apartment door still open.

Tahali on the other hand, was taken to the police's office and questioned. After answering all of the questions she blurted a question out of her own, "Who was the white tiger? I heard one of the gang members call him Vaughn." The Rhino police officer by the name of Darvy replied, "Hold on, I think I can get something for you. Would you like some water, by chance?" "Oh yes please, that would be nice." He walked out of the room. After a decent amount of time went by, he came back with a file in-hand, "Here, this is the only White tiger we could find named Vaughn. He seems to be a pretty well known guy in the city." He handed her the file. She opened the file and stared at an 18 year old picture of him. Turning the pages, there were pictures of him wearing hoodies and occasionally one where you could see most of his face. She touched the picture and looked up at Darvy, "He saved me and my nephew." Darvy looked at her with surprise and stood up, "Darling, I think you're tired. It's been a long day." "Could-could I have some more water?" She held up her paper cup and smiled. Darvy took it and smiled, "Of course." After he left, Tahali pulled out her phone and took pictures of Vaughn's file. Darvy returned a moment later with her cup. She took it from him and drank it slowly. "Thank you Darvy." "You should go home now. Your parents are probably very worried." "Thank you again, and yes, they probably are." Tahali left the office and walked out, her parents waited in the car. When they noticed her coming out of the building they got out of the car and rushed over, "My dear Tahali! Are you alright?? I've heard so many terrible things that happened in that building and the fact that you were in there! It's okay darling!" Her mother and father embraced her and she melted in their arms. Atikai had been picked up earlier by his parents from the office so she left without him.

At home, Tahali pulled out her phone and looked at the pictures of Vaughn's file. "It says that he was last seen at Pine street, apartment complex. That was last night... after he protected me and Atikai. Could that be where he's staying?" The next morning, Tahali called work and told them she wouldn't be able to come in that day. She piled medicines and bandages into her bag and drove over to Pine street, apartment complex. She stared up at the tall building and sighed, "He's gotta be in one of these apartments." She got out of the car and walked into the lobby. Stopping at the desk, she asked for the room number of Vaughn Maxwell. The man at the desk shook his head and told her there wasn't a Vaughn Maxwell at this apartment complex. Doris, the old elephant who lived right next to Vaughn stood up just as Tahali was about to leave the building. Doris put her hand out and grabbed Tahali's hand. "I know where Vaughn is, sweetie." Tahali was at first surprised but then she smiled, "Could you take me to him?" "Come-come, this way." Doris let go of her hand and waved her to come, as she waddled off into the hallway. Tahali followed, hopeful of finding him. Doris paused at an open apartment door, "Vaughn lives here darling." She pointed her cane into the room. "I'm glad someone came to help him." Without saying another word, Doris left. Tahali creaked the door open wider so if anything happened she could call for help. She stepped into the dark, cool room. At first she saw the half eaten loaf of bread on the counter and then her gaze fell upon Vaughn. He lay on his bed with blood-stained bandages covering his bullet wound. His face was bruised and scared from fighting. His fur was messy, unbrushed and matted. He would've woke by now if he wasn't a hard sleeper, she thought to herself. I'm surprised I found him so fast. She stepped forward and peered down at him as she sat on the bed. She carefully unbound his bandages from his torso and replaced them with new ones after treating the wound with medicine. She then dabbed his face with cold water and treated those wounds too. She looked around the room and her eyes rested on a bullet shell sitting on his dresser. "He pulled it out himself..." Vaughn stirred and pricked an eye open. He spotted her and shifted his weight, after seeing she brought medicine and more bandages. He uncovered more wounds. Although she didn't realize it, Vaughn was awake for the rest of the time she was there. After she was done, she walked around his apartment and looked at pictures he had. She moved over to the only window in the small apartment room and stared out at the blossoming tree outside it. She opened the window and took a blossom from the tree branch that neared the window. She looked over at the sleeping giant laying on the bed and set the blossom on his dresser with a note beneath it saying, "Thank you for rescuing me." She picked up her bag and started for the door. Vaughn lifted his head and sat up. She stopped and slowly turned to look at him. He rubbed his eyes and held his head, "Thanks" "It's my pleasure." She smiled and left the room. She stopped as she turned around the corner of the door and sighed. She took a breath and continued down the hall.

A look into the future: Vaughn becomes a police man and defeats evil. Trying to cure the city of gangs. Vaughn and Tahali fall in love and don't even know it until a life/death experience pulls them closer and they realize how they really do love eachother and a lot more to come ^-^

(I really enjoyed writing all of that and I now really like the character O-o)
