THE ROOTBEER STOAT

Name:
Rootbeer/Birchbeer
Gender:
Unknown

Species:
Stoat (short-tailed weasel)

A sweet-smelling stoat of indeterminate gender. They have an affinity for sugary beverages of all sorts, but as their name implies, they are especially fond of root beer & root beer floats. Never leave your unfinished soft drinks outside unattended or you might just return to find a tiny weasel finishing it for you!

They're elusive & easily spooked. You'll know they're nearby when the air suddenly becomes heavy with the scent of fresh cream, cherries, and sassafras. They consume root beer in such vast quantities that their fur actually smells like it.

In winter, they transform into Birchbeer stoat - with light, cream-colored fur & a dollop of strawberry ice cream (garnished with mint!) atop their head!
