Sierra is all about cold weather. One trip to the mountains was enough to infatuate her. She grew up in a much more arid and sweltering region, with those same snow capped mountains taunting her each day. Her parents found her interest in the frosty temperatures to be crazy and preposterous, and that warm weather was the only sane option. That's when she swore that someday, she would get out of that sweltering wasteland and travel to those snowy mountains. And that she did.
There's much more to Sierra than just her love of the cold. Not long after she married Logan, she claimed to have been abducted by aliens. Her memory of the event is extremely hazy, and has virtually no evidence to back it up. Nevertheless, Sierra is a firm believer in extraterrestrial life. Logan was extremely skeptical at first, and even pestered her and joked about it for a while. Eventually, he began to see how serious she was being, and now takes her side.
Sierra isn't very well acquainted with many of the other states, mostly because they think she's crazy for believing in aliens. She initially comes off as pretty shy to new people, but can get used to them easily. Some will find it surprising how excited and extraordinarily competitive she gets during snowball fights.
