Apocrypha's conception was the result of a battle between her parents. Her father won the fight and therefore the right to impregnate her mother. She knew her mothers's sadness the moment she was born. Her parents did not get along very well, something that Apocrypha noticed right away. They maintained their relationship for her sake, but there was no love in it. Eventually, her mother became very distant to her and her father. When Apocrypha was weaned, her mother left completely. Apocrypha clung to her father then, not wanting him to leave her too. The two of them eventually started hanging out around Winter Solstice and her son Hezekiah, two others living in Terrivel Beleza. She was actually Schism's grandmother and Apocrypha's great grandmother. The four of them spent a lot of time together until Baron left the herd in the hands of someone else - a stallion named Malocchio. They decide not to stay in the herd after its renamed to Carnevale Scheletro. Apocrypha traveled with her father for a while in the Free lands, living in different places. Eventually, she decided to strike out on her own path.
