Sun Chaser

Around and around and around

I'm stuck orbiting this mystifying fireball

You may know it as "the sun"

I used to be an ordinary creature but I can't remember what kind

Scientists made changes to my body until I was unrecognizable

and then sent me here

They called me a "satellite"

I'm not sure what that is but I wish I weren't one.

I just want to go home

but 

I've been here so long I don't even remember what that's like so...

do I really want to go?
