Blight is one of the lower-ranking gods in the Archivis and twin sibling to Truth. Blight's main purpose is to cause chaos, it represents darkness, mischief, and lies. It counteracts Fate often. As a master of illusion, it has the unique capability to create a mirage of itself inside a human's head and appear in front of them as if it was really there, but this only applies to a single target and any bystanders will believe the human is talking to themself.
It is easily entertained by causing chaos among the Archivis, especially when teasing its twin. It can usually be settled down with enough insistence.
Unlike Time, it isn't opposed to gifting humans its powers and therefore creating angels, because it feels that doing this will create more possibilities for chaos. These powers include a heightened sense of possible danger and heightened strength, as well as being able to create illusions.
It also has an affinity for playing with humans, which is exemplified in Arien Erebus, who Blight took a liking to when he came to it. It eventually led him to discover that he had been lied to about his brother's death and that it was suicide and not accident in 1893.
