Yakecan is extremely quick to learn and apply knowledge. He fears few things in a lab and to him danger is usually just a way of finding out if an experiment goes right, or not. Be it by dumb luck or not he has left all the dangerous experiments in one piece to this day.

As a sapling he had a sort of obsession in regards to charr culture's complex engineering knowledge and joined the Boulder warband after much effort. By then, being watched over was a task that fell upon Vortok, local engineer and designer grump, that decided to mentor the boy once he realized the potential that mind carried. Turns out Yakecan brought a whole pack of enthusiasm together to the warband, and the trouble was bigger than anticipated.

He eventually parted ways with the group years later, around the time he joined the Order of Whispers, working on missions beside his girlfriend, Heather.
