Ryan "Rose" Mendyaka

Ryan, known more commonly under the alias "Rose," has a complex history with plenty of thorns.  Since he was young, he planned to go out with a bang while being rich and attractive before he was thirty, sporting a diet of high protein to fuel his bodybuilding and a steady influx of menthol nicotine.  Ryan has literally strut along some of the most dangerous and disconcerting paths life has to offer -- from prostitution to gang association to drug abuse, he's dealt heavily with his own fair share of sin.  Nowadays, somehow, he's achieved rich and attractive, but with four kids and three husbands.  Go figure how that happened -- he's still not sure, but he can't find it in him to have regrets.

Standoffish, cynical, and dryly sarcastic to most others, Ryan isn't known to be personable.  He has a keen and sharp eye in a crowd, and he's an instinctive people-pleaser -- as long as the end goal is to please himself.  (Or his husbands, Marshall, Reisoku, and Dawn, but he'd kill before anyone realized that fact).  But beyond his thick skin, vanity, and materialistic tendencies, he has a loyalty like no other.  He will go out of his way to protect his own; the price has never mattered, nor will it.  (It helps that his paycheck has plenty of zeros, but of course.  Working intel for a Spec-Ops Agency has its perks.)

Ryan's broad, built form is covered in intricate scarification, most of which was done by or is of Marshall's design, and he has several tattoos and piercings -- the most notable are his eyebrow scar and piercing, gauges, and his rose tattoo over his heart.  He's a natural redhead but dyes everything black, and he shaves away the rest (even up unto the day he dies).
