Profile
Tyson's youth was spent full of adventure, partying, and mildly illegal activities. Now he's starting to slow down and settle down.
He buckled down and passed medical school, become "Dr. Swag", a development-behavioral pediatrician for adolescents. He also volunteers with wilderness search and rescue on the side where he specializes in mountaineering, SAR dogs, and backcountry survival.
Tyson lives happily with his girlfriend Aleida and two kids, Alyson and Dyson. They also have a full house of pets: a sheepadoodle named Romeo, two cats named Kissa and Kisu, and a raccoon named Trash
Tyson is known for smiling and lightening moods even in professional, heavy, or serious situations. He still carries a lot of his goofy, party-loving disposition that he had in his early adulthood.
Tyson also tries to be that cool dad(tm) but is also definitely protective of them. He experienced a lot of hurt and trauma throughout his life and wants to save them from it. He wants his kids to flourish and grow into themselves, but still struggles with being okay when they get hurt or make mistakes. If it was up to him, he'd take the brunt of all their pain or take on the consequences from their own actions, but he knows that they would never learn and succeed in life if he did that.
I'll add more later, just know that he's pretty rad.
- Has lost touch with most of his family (except for Magpie) and a lot of his childhood friends.
- As a small child he befriended a paraplegic bean and was a bright spot in their life. Little did he know at the time, they were a rich inventor and he helped pull them out of a depressive episode. In return they paid for his college and medical school.
- Was a part of a trio of best friends with Ashlyn and Moriarty and stuck together through thick and thin. Unfortunately, through a serious of unfortunate events (mostly caused by Tyson) the trio is on thin ice and rarely talk.
- Has made out with many beans in his teen and young adulthood, including most of his ex-friends (it's probably how they became ex-friends).
- Had experienced retrograde amnesia after an accident while with Ash and Mori. Was able to regain most of his memories, but bits and pieces (especially traumatic experiences) are still foggy.
- Used to have a genuine fear of children for a very very long time. He was afraid of hurting them or damaging them like some people in his life did when he was young. He has since gotten over this fear.
- Has a whole circus of pets. Has two cats, Kissa and Kisu (Finnish for "Cat" and "Kitten") that he adopted from the shelter, a black and white sheepadoodle named Romeo he got with his friend Mozzie, and adopted a raccoon named Trash that is doted on by his sister and girlfriend.
As a baby, Tyson grew up in a very loving family surrounded two brothers and his sister Magpie. He has a decent relationship with both his parents Waffle and Azul, but they aren't as involved in his life as they once were. Tyson never really got along with his brothers Calvin and Devereaux and even as an adult Tyson does not reach out to them. He is however, fiercely protective of his younger sister. They have a strong bond that has remained unshaken even through the darkest parts of Tyson's life.
Tyson really began to grow up as a teen. His close circle of friends mostly consisted of Ash and Moriarty, but other beans would come and go in his life. For whatever reason, Tyson became easily infatuated with people and this led him to easily get hurt when others did not reciprocate these feelings. Tyson ended up steady dating Haruka, which eventually ended in disaster. Towards the end of their relationship, Tyson had an affair with an old best friend and when he came clean to Haruka it ended very nastily when her violent mother got involved. Through his teen years and part of his emerging adulthood Tyson showed some reckless or self-destructive traits. Most of his scars are from his teen years.
As earlier stated, Tyson's emerging adulthood was rocky. However, everything seemed to click when he met Aleida. They bonded over shared experiences with amnesia and a love for partying. They quickly fell in love and moved in with each other. Ali was very accepting of Tyson's past (and also of all the pets he accumulated throughout his life). They spent their nights partying it up together and their days eating fruitloops with gaterade before work. They adopted a raccoon together to add to the family. Tyson and Ali helped each other heal in many ways; Ali helped Tyson get over his fear of children and worrying about damaging them, and Tyson encouraged Ali to reopen her surf shop back up from before her amnesia.
Aleida and Tyson now have two beautiful children, Alyson and Dyson. While they are lifelong mates, they still are not married; Tyson has yet to get over that fear and finally marry the girl of his dreams -- he needs to do it soon however, before Ali decides to wear the pants and propose to him!
