Greg Mendyl

Greg is Marshall's Papa, Aear's husband, and was previously one of Reisoku's college professors until he graduated.  He is genuinely one of the kindest, nicest people you will ever meet who will go out of his way to help if he sees the need.  Owner of a Ph.D. in English and Masters in Psychology, Greg presently teaches psych courses at the local university, where his husband also works.  He part-times in the flower shop his sister owns, and he writes in his limited spare time.  (He's been working on several novels for a very long time.)  He loves homecooked meals (and makes some pretty good stew, as Marshall will attest), dogs, hiking, nature, and shitty puns.  He was a metal-head in his youth and still listens to quite a few metal and rock bands.  His kids mean the world to him, and he would gladly set aside his kindness to throw some punches if it meant for the better wellbeing of his family.

For those who aim to draw him, note that Greg's design has changed over the years.  I only have a few recent, properly colored pieces in his gallery.  The older he gets, the more facial hair he gets -- but I'm okay if only the goatee is chosen for the sake of convenience, as it's not out of character.  Thanks!
